As Co-Founder of Donor Republic, Marcus is incredibly proud of building an agency that has helped over 50 organisations achieve outstanding fundraising and marketing success.
Before Donor Republic, Marcus was General Manager of Marketing and Fundraising at Cerebral Palsy Alliance for eight years, overseeing the growth of their fundraising from $12m to $31m. He worked in similar roles at Cancer Council NSW and Cancer Council QLD for six years, and at a small HIV/AIDS charity.
Marcus also founded the innovative social change campaign, ‘Include a Charity’, leading a transformation of people’s perceptions of charity gifts in their wills, and has served six years on the Board of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.

He is a past state and national winner of the Fundraising Institute of Australia’s Fundraiser of the year award, as well as being nominated as a pro-bono Change Maker, and Fundraising and Philanthropy Change Maker.
Prior to Donor Republic, Andrew led Guide Dogs SA/NT to experience significant fundraising growth from $1m to $9m over seven years. He also chaired the Guide Dogs Australia Fundraising Committee, overseeing an increase in revenue from $57 to $89m in four years.

Getting food to hungry families in crisis
In June 2021 we worked with Foodbank NSW & ACT to launch an emergency appeal in response to the economic impact of Sydney’s evolving COVID lockdown which caused widespread job losses and financial hardship.
Attracting new regular givers with a two-step strategy
In 2020, the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research approached Donor Republic with a new concept – a free habit tracker guide – that they hoped would help convert one-time donors to regular givers.
